Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. As an innovative company offering a wide array of products, we strive to continuously develop new technology and drive process improvement.

 

We are currently seeking a Production Analyst/Scheduler to play a key role within our organization. This person will utilize their data-centric mind to extract data from within our ERP system to help plan and schedule the work throughout our shop. The Production Analyst/Scheduler is responsible for utilizing data to develop schedules, forecasts, and material needs based on current on-hand inventory and forecasted needs.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Extract and analyze data from our ERP and other systems to help create current and forecasted needs
  • Create, update, and maintain schedules for multiple departments
  • Create jobs and priorities based on the current and projected needs of the company
  • Analyze inventory levels across multiple phases of manufacturing to understand priority needs and job sizes
  • Communicate scheduling conflicts with management throughout the production process
  • Assist the Material Handlers with production needs
  • Utilize Epicor to track the status of current jobs and update the production team with any discrepancies during the production process
  • Develop a forecast based on projections for purchasing to plan and order material within appropriate timelines
  • Weekly reporting of actual production versus planned production

 

Requirements

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including strong Excel experience)
  • Prior experience using Epicor or similar ERP system
  • Strong SQL Querying skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer software
  • Ability to extract, collate and analyze data from multiple sources

 

Desired Experience

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
